Connecting Your Clover Device to Everyware

Clover Point of Sale users can send secure pay by text links as an alternate, convenient payment method from their Clover devices by following these steps:  

1. Sign up for an Everyware account

2. Connect your payment gateway

2. Install the Everyware App in Clover

3. Create a Clover Token

4. Verify updated Point of Sale Settings, add Clover Token & Save 

5. Test! Contact Everyware for help with setup, testing or any technical support needs

1. Enter your business information to establish new Everyware Pay by Text account, here: https://signup.everyware.com/tryitNowiframe?rcode=(PartnerID)

2. Log into Eveyware. Navigate to to Settings > Gateway and connect your existing CardConnect gateway account to Everyware by entering your CardConnect API credentials.

3. Log into Clover Marketplace and open this private link to install Everyware to your terminal:  https://www.clover.com/appmarket/m/7BE8BKMY0AMD1/apps/7BEPY4MQJBZ22 

  • Click 'Accept' in the Install Everyware pop up

  • Once the app is installed, you should see the Everyware Pay by Text icon in your Installed apps list

4. Go Account & Setup. Under Business Operations, click API Token

  • On the API Tokens page, click the Create New Token button at the top right corner

  • Name your token "Everyware", check all the "Read" boxes, the write boxes for Customers, Orders, and Payments and click the Create Token button
  • Copy both your new token and this API URL: https://api.clover.com

5. Back in Everyware, make sure your device and token are added to the Point of Sale Settings.

  • You should now see that the the Everyware onboarding team has enabled your Point of Sale Settings and has entered your Device Nickname, Device ID, Merchant ID.  If you do not see this tab or your device has not yet been added, email clover@everyware.com and someone will assist with setup right away

  • Paste your new API token and the API URL https://api.clover.com into the SYNC POS API fields and click Save.mceclip5.png

FOR THE CUSTOMER WHO LEFT THEIR WALLET IN THE CAR

Send a pay by text so they don't leave a full cart behind.

FOR THOSE WILLING TO SPONSOR SHOPPING BUT DON'T WANT TO HAND OVER CARDS OR ACCOUNT INFO

Send Mom or Dad the payment link when her kid is ready to check out.

FOR PHARMACY PATIENTS WHO HAVE A CAREGIVER TO PICK UP THE RX

Caregivers can pick up medicine at the pharmacy while patients pay their bill by text from the comfort and safety of home.

FOR THE UNFORTUNATE CARD DECLINED, INACTIVE, OR EXPIRED SITUATIONS

When the card your customer has handy won't work, simply text them their payment link to pay bill with one of their stored online accounts.

FOR THE EMPLOYEE WITHOUT THE COMPANY PCARD

Send a pay by text to the co-worker who holds the card.
